His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jadara University and its owner, Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdh, chaired a meeting of the heads of the boards of directors and the boards of directors of private universities, during which many issues related to investment in the education sector and the challenges facing it were discussed.

In a welcoming speech during the meeting hosted by Jadara University in the presence of its president and organized by its board of directors, Dr. Al-Marashdeh valued the great role of heads of boards of directors and boards of directors in harnessing all their material and moral capabilities to serve the educational sector.

He said that private universities provide an attractive educational environment and infrastructure at the highest levels to serve the educational process, and supply the labor market with qualified students with educational outcomes that enable them to work in various fields.

Al-Marashdh called for the necessity of unifying the demands of investors in this vital sector, expanding horizons of cooperation and communication between them, and opening direct lines of communication with decision-makers and decision-makers in various ministries, institutions, and state agencies concerned with education to find appropriate solutions that impede the progress and prosperity of their sector.

Al-Marashdh stressed that the future of private universities is in constant flux through their possession of competencies, plans, and programs that qualify them to compete with the most prestigious local and international universities.

The meeting, which was attended by the heads of the boards of directors and the board of directors, the heads of some private universities, and representatives of their owners, discussed many important files and issues, foremost of which are obstacles to investment in education, the need for equality of public universities, and the application of public and private accreditation standards for private universities with fairness similar to government universities.

The attendees also demanded the necessity of having representatives from private universities in the Higher Education Council and agreeing to allow graduates who have an acceptable grade to study for a master's degree under certain conditions, including the student taking an entrance exam, or giving him catch-up hours.

They called for activating the role of the Association of Institutions for Higher Education, working to attract foreign students, facilitating their admission process, and easing the conditions imposed on them.
